Technical committee

To prepare the judging process, ÖBB, UIC and The Watford Group have set up
a Technical Committee composed of railway and transportation professionals
who have volunteered their time to ensure the impartial and efficient processing
of the entries. The committee will undertake:

• a preliminary examination of the entries submitted, ensuring that they are
  in compliance with the competition rules and presentation criteria as well
  as appropriate to the category in which they are entered.
• A pre-grouping of the entries following the four major judgement criteria.
  The pre-grouping is a non-binding suggestion to the jury.
• a report of its findings to the jury, phrasing them in a neutral fashion
